Body Positive is a social movement and philosophy that promotes the acceptance, respect, and celebration of all bodies, regardless of size, shape, ability, gender, or appearance.
Its central goal is to challenge the
unrealistic and oppressive beauty standards imposed by society, the media, and the fashion/diet industry, which have historically prioritized thin, young, and “perfectly” symmetrical bodies.
While Body Positive tells you “your body deserves respect,”
Pilates tells you “let’s honor and strengthen that body that you are, exactly as it is today.”
My mission as your coach on this journey of discovery, is to help you become the most radiant, strong, and connected version of yourself.
Because when you practice with respect and mindful listening, your body doesn’t just get stronger; it transforms from the inside out, revealing an authentic beauty and a vitality that were already within you, waiting to be enhanced.
